The Island
Corfu
Corfu is one of the greenest islands of Greece, with fantastic beaches, a lot of traditional Venetian buildings and cosmopolitan life. You can start exploring it, by the estate of the villa, which spread over in 7 acres, with it’s centuries old olive trees and aromatic plants inside of ground trails.
Adventure
Village
For those who feel adventurous and nature lovers, can visit the traditional village of Chlomos, that lies down on the hillside, in 300m height, either by walking or by riding a car or motorcycle. Once you get there, you can walk in the picturesque paved paths and feel as if the past comes to life, or you can rest in the “Balis” tavern, next to the old church and enjoy a good meal or just some cool soft drinks, coffee and ice cream. The view from the top of the hill is magnificent and the sunset is ravishing.
Other Villages
Places
Other villages near the property is Messonghi and Moraitika which are located 3,5 km north and will offer you a nice touristic experience with shopping, many restaurants, super markets and organized beaches with a lot of people and water sports. Also there you can rent a car or a bike, which is a necessary think to do, if you want to have a full experience of Corfu Island.
East Corfu
Fish Villages
Near there is also in 1 Km to the South, the picturesque port of Boukari and fishing village Petriti with a lot of small taverns serving fresh fish.
Natura Area
Lagoon
A little bit further , 5 Km to the west coast, is the Korission lagoon, that is Natura 2000 area, with ecological interest, and rare birds. Next to the lagoon, there are endless sandy beaches, that spread over in many Kilometers with clear waters or you can arrange to have a beautiful tour into the cedarwoods by horse riding .
